King Caesor University trains Job Creators as 33 graduate

King Ceasor University (KCU) Buziga has put emphasis on training job creators than job seeks. This was revealed on Thursday by the university Vice Chancellor Prof. Gabriel Nzarubara during the graduation ceremony of 33 students.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni advised the graduating students to use the skills they have acquired during their time of study at the university to create jobs for themselves and the country at large.

The President was represented by the Prime Minister Rt Hon. Ruhakana Rugunda. He saluted the University for the contribution it has made in instilling skills in the students. He further encouraged the students to be enterprising and compliment government in its effort in creation of employment opportunities.

“Graduation marks the end of one journey, and marks the beginning of yet another important journey in your life,” he added.

A total of 33 students graduated of which 19 graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, 8 graduated with Bachelor of law, 3 graduated with Bachelor of Oil, Gas and energy management, one student graduated with a diploma in Law and 2 graduated with Diploma in Pharmacy.

The ceremony was graced by a number of dignitaries including religious leaders like the outgoing Arch Bishop of the Church of Uganda His Grace Stanley Ntagali, ministers and diplomats of various countries like Russia, Turkey, Korea, Eritrea, Vetinam, United Arab Emirates (UAE) among others.
The chairman of the university council Hon. Henry Okello Oryem who doubles as the state minister for Foreign Affairs thanked the students for the hardwork, and encouraged the students to be principled, honest, truthful and to work hard because their future totally depends on how much effort they put in whatever they do.

The Vice Chancellor of the university Prof. Gabriel Nzarubara called for professionalism and hard work. He told graduates to be good ambassadors of the university in the outside world by spreading gospel about it.

The chancellor of the university King Ceasor Mulenga who doubles as Vietnamese Consul to Uganda appreciated the president for his total support towards the university, especially for signing the instrument which okayed the change of the university name from St Augustine International University to King Ceasor University, and also for giving them free land in Kisoro district to open up a branch.

He also requested the government to fulfill its commitment towards offering a free university education just like they did with Universal Primary Education and Universal Secondary Education.

King Ceasor university’s journey began in August 2013, and it has continued to grow in both student numbers and structures.

The university now boasts of over 600 national and international students.
One of King Ceasor University law student, Geoffrey Mutayomba emerged the best in Uganda in Criminal proceedings and was awarded the Chief Justice Award 2018/19.
