The suspension of roadside food vending in Mukono municipality has hit hard those who have been depending on the services of food vendors.
The Health Ministry banned roadside food vending to contain the spread of the corona virus pandemic, saying it would be hard for the vendors to maintain proper hygiene yet they serve a huge number of people.
The roadside vendors sell snacks such as chips, chicken, chapatti and beans among other fast foods.
