Skhiri’s header in the 10th minute set the tone for the match, while Achouri doubled the lead just before the break. He completed his brace after the hour mark, scoring from a rebound.
Uganda fought back late in the game, with Denis Omedi scoring a deflected goal in stoppage time, but it was little more than a consolation. Despite the late goal, Tunisia remained firmly in control throughout the match.

The win places Tunisia at the top of Group C, ahead of Nigeria, who defeated Tanzania 2-1 earlier. Tunisia will next face Nigeria in a crucial match on Saturday, while Uganda will look to bounce back in their upcoming match against Tanzania.
