Before the coronavirus shook the world, Ugandan partiers preferred to find the party from anywhere but their homes. It was easier for them to watch TV shows or international concerts on TV than watching a local music show online.

All that has however changed ever since the country was put on lockdown after the banning of gatherings by the president to fight the spread of the virus.

On Saturday evening, the highly popularized Club Beatz at Home online concert lived to the hype when it returned for its second edition.

The show that was organized by Club Pilsner saw a line-up of youthful acts, with a vibrant fanbase, do the magic on the mic.  There was a communal appreciation for performances from Lydia Jazmine, Fefe Bussi, Grenade Official, Allan Toniks, and DJ Aludah on the decks, as they whipped the crowds into a frenzy with their performances.

The setup of the show was just perfect with a touch of class. For a live show on social media, the lighting and production done by Fenon Records was great. All the artistes performed in the comfort of their homes with Martha Kay as the host of the show.

Alan Toniks kicked off the artitse performances with the song ‘Swag Meter’ and worked magic with his guitar.  He also did his latest hit ‘Sikuleka’, ‘Romance’, and ‘Sunday’ before leaving the mic for the ladies’ man Grenade official.

At this time, the show was catching on and the vibe was getting higher. Grenade did songs like ‘Akaama’, and ‘Nkuloga’ among others.

Lydia Jazmine not to be outshone, did justice to her songs including ‘Masuka’, ‘You and Me’, and ‘Hit and Run’ among others.

The highlight of the night was Luga flow rapper Fefe Busi who made sure the viewers who were already glued to the show called others to come and enjoy Fefe’s performance. He kept the party lively as he freestyled off his trucks; ‘Business’, ‘Love Yo’ among others. The party was taken a notch higher by Sir Aludah with DJ mixes that went on all night long.
