Iron Sheet Scandal: Aciro finally grants Kitutu and brother cash bail

Joan Aciro, the chief magistrate of the Anti-Corruption Court, has approved a cash bail of Shs10 million for Mary Goretti Kitutu, the Karamoja Affairs Minister who has been detained for a week.

During the court proceedings on Friday morning, her younger brother, Michael Naboya Kitutu, was also granted a cash bail of Shs3 million. Ms. Kitutu is accused of two counts of causing the loss of public property and one count of conspiracy to defraud in connection with the Karamoja iron sheets scandal.
