Two Kenyans have been arrested for entering Uganda hiding inside a curved coffin on Monday morning, according to the Suam area police spokesperson Sam Okurut.
Okurut identified the two suspects as Robert Wanjala Simiyu, aged 29 and Augustine Parukola both residents of Endebes in Transioyia West, in Kenya.
He says these two will be charged with attempted murder.
The bizarre incident occurred 4 kilometers South of Suam border in Bukwo district.
According to the eyewitnesses, upon arrival at the Uganda border, the two hired a few local people from Bukwo district to carry them in a curved coffin as they acted dead.
However, hell broke loose when police intervened upon receiving the information, the locals then dumped the coffin before taking off, stressing that the officers were shocked to find out that the two coffin occupants were actually a live.
