Lawyers to start hearing NRM election petitions today

The committee of Lawyers instituted to dispose-off all NRM election petitions is expected to start today with hearing

The committee, chaired by Enock Barata, that was appointed by the party chairman Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, will be hearing over 450 cases at all levels.

Barata says the exercise will take two weeks and decisions will be taken immediately after hearing.

In addition, the party Secretary General Kasule Lumumba also confirms that endorsing of members whose victories don’t have queries will be done by the party district chairmen and Deputy treasurer Rose Namayanja Nsereko.
