Mobile money transfer between MTN, Airtel suspended

Telecom giants Airtel Uganda and MTN Uganda have suspended mobile money transfer services between the two networks over what they called “unprecedented technical challenges”.

“Airtel Uganda and MTN Uganda inform customers that due to unprecedented technical challenges, mobile money services between the two networks are temporarily suspended,” a statement said.

“We apologize to all customers for any inconvenience that this has caused.”
