Nakivubo Stadium Reconstruction is A Triumph Over Doubt

Nakivubo Stadium, once deemed a daydream by skeptics, is defying expectations as nearly 90% of the construction work nears completion. This remarkable progress is attributed to investor Hamis Kiggundu of Ham Group of Companies, who has played a pivotal role in transforming the stadium.

The revamped Nakivubo Stadium not only enhances Kampala’s skyline but also brings about significant socio-economic changes in downtown Kampala. With its state-of-the-art facilities, this privately owned stadium is set to become a hub for sports and various social activities.

While the final touches, including the installation of an artificial turf football field, glass fittings, and goal posts, remain to be completed, the stadium is expected to be fully operational by the end of this year.

The imminent opening of Nakivubo Stadium signifies a triumphant moment for all those who doubted its reconstruction. It serves as a testament to the determination and vision of the stakeholders involved, offering Ugandans a world-class sporting venue to be proud of.
