The Uganda Muslim Supreme Council-UMSC National Management under the stewardship of His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad Ali Waiswa, the 2nd Deputy Mufti held on their weekly meeting resolved among other issues to appoint the youthful Sheikh Abdubarri Muhammadi Kaloozi Acting Secretary incharge of Zakah and Swadaq – Alms collection and distributions pending approval by the relevant organs as stipulated in the UMSC Constitution.
Sheikh Kaloozi holds a Bachelor Degree of Arts in Sharia from the UMSC based Islamic Call University College-ICUC. He is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Islamic Banking and Finance from the Islamic University In Uganda- IUIU.
He was later sworn in to commence his official duties.
