Young city Tycoon Hamis Kiggundu who owns owns a number of Shopping malls and arcades around Kampala city yesterday appealed to the government of Uganda to allow landlords open all arcades with safety and social distancing measures as it has been to business to enable traders operate

We Apeal to the Government to allow us resume operation, or put in place special terms and conditions that can be implemented on our buildings to enforce and maintain social distancing since landlords and tenants need and coexist with each other.We are planning on how to support our tenants without financially pressurising them since we are together in this struggle“, Hamis said.

Hamis also said that he is very ready to discuss and make a convenient rent payment plan with his tenants so as to survive these hard times together.
