A leader of a notorious gang that has been terrorizing residents of Naguru Go-down and Jinja road has been arrested.
Paul Kisoro, 19, a resident of Kamwokya and 37 others were arrested by the Flying Squad working together with crime intelligence during an operation following complaints from Naguru residents who saw Kisoro carrying a gun.
Deputy Kampala Metropolitan spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire says that when Kisoro’s house in Kamwokya was searched, four suspected stolen mattresses were recovered, a decoder, toy pistol, among others.

Kisoro and the other suspects are currently at Jinja road Police station on charges of aggravated robbery.
Police have also arrested ten suspected phone snatchers operating in Bunga in Wakiso District.
They were arrested in an operation by the Police Flying Squad Unit over the weekend at 1:00 am.
According to Owoyesigyire, the suspects who include two women are currently detained at Kabalagala police station. The suspects were found in possession of 25 mobile phones, machetes, bags and motorcycles among others.
