Uganda’s vibrant business community is gearing up for enhanced connectivity and fresh opportunities with the upcoming Business Network International (BNI) Expo slated for May 31 and June 1, 2024, at the UMA Show Grounds in Lugogo.

Crafted to ignite business expansion and ingenuity, the expo aligns closely with this year’s theme, “Connecting Businesses, Creating Opportunities.” It promises to unite industry frontrunners, entrepreneurs, and professionals from Europe, Asia, and across Africa, offering a dynamic arena for networking, collaboration, and strategic alliances.

Diana Ninsiima Kibuuka, the National Director of BNI Uganda, highlighted the prevalent challenge faced by many Ugandan entrepreneurs—limited networking and mentorship opportunities.

“The event is an inclusive platform welcoming business enthusiasts and seasoned entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds to connect with like-minded individuals across various sectors, learn from insightful presentations, and explore innovative exhibitions,” noted Ninsiima.

“The expo serves as a hub for fostering deeper business connections, sharing knowledge, and showcasing business offerings. It creates an atmosphere for learning, networking, and exhibition, encouraging dialogue and collaboration that fuels innovation and professional growth.”

The BNI Expo is poised to feature a dynamic array of activities, including targeted networking sessions, expert-led workshops, and a diverse exhibition showcasing cutting-edge trends and services across multiple industries in Uganda.

In anticipation of the main event, attendees can engage in a series of enriching webinars tailored to prepare them for the comprehensive experience of the expo.

For instance, Stanbic Bank will lead a discussion on strategies for businesses to enhance their eligibility for a business loan, particularly addressing challenges related to limited credit history or collateral.
