Gayaza Police Bust Human Rights Activist Recruitment Scheme for Homosexuality

Police Raid in Gayaza Leads to Arrests of Alleged Homosexuality and Crime Abettors

Gayaza, Uganda – Earlier today, police in Gayaza conducted a raid resulting in the arrest of several individuals, following reports and tips from local residents. Among those detained are Christine Nakiyimba, Murungi Susan, and Mutoni Joan.

According to police reports, the arrested individuals were posing as human rights activists supporting vulnerable youths and the LGBTQ community. However, authorities allege they were secretly funding and recruiting youth into homosexuality.

By the time of this report, the group’s leader, identified only as Ms. Naome, was unreachable on her known phone numbers, and her whereabouts remain unknown to the police.

ASP Robert Musinguzi, the Officer in Charge at Gayaza Police Station, stated that the suspects would be forwarded to court on charges of homosexuality and abetting crime. Mr. Musinguzi emphasized that the police do not condone homosexuality and appealed to residents to cooperate with authorities in combating immorality and upholding national moral values and standards.

“We urge the community to work with us in the fight against immorality and homosexuality to maintain our national values,” ASP Musinguzi said.
