The aid was recieved by Health Minister Jane Ruth Aceng, Minister for Primary Healthcare Joy Moriku Kaducu and Minister of health for General duties Robinah Nabbanja on behalf of the COVID-19 Task force.

Kalule called on the government to give the food to the women in rural areas and appreciated the Ministry of Health for their tireless effort to save Ugandans, from the deadly virus which has claimed lives of thousands of people across the world.

At the same event, Zedriga said that this is a time for all Ugandans to come together for a common cause.

Health Minsiter Jane Ruth Aceng, on her part hailed the People power for coming up to support Ugandans. She said COVID-19 can only be won through concerted effort regardless of political, religious, and cultural affiliation.
