ENTEBBE — President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is hosting a national prayer over Coronavirus with all religious leaders at the state house.
The national prayer which is being held at the State House Entebbe is organised by members of Inter-Religious Council of Uganda—with religious leaders from every faith.
The prayer is dedicated to the country and its health personnel as the coronavirus pandemic wrecks havoc on Uganda’s neighbors.
Uganda has no confirmed coronavirus case according to health minister Jane Ruth Aceng.
Mr. Museveni is expected to address the country after the televised prayers.
At his recent address, President Museveni said Uganda has been spared from this virus by the mercies of God despite the false alarms.
‘So, as God-fearing people, we need to pray for the whole country. I ask each one of you to pray in your homes, and God will hear us. Thank you. For God and My Country,” the president recently.
