City Tycoon Hamis Kiggundu donates 100 million Ugx Cash to the government for food relief distribution program

Renown city tycoon Hamis Kiggundu has through his Charity: Ham Foundation donated Uganda Shillings 100 Million in Cash to the Government of Uganda towards the food relief distribution program that is targeting Vulnerable affected by the lockdown aimed at combating the CORONAVIRUS pandemic.

He personally handed over the physical cash to the Prime Minister of Uganda, Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda at his offices in Kampala when flagging off the food supply trucks that started with the areas of Bwaise.

He said that this is not time for worrying about money and losses but for protection of life and assurance of survival.

Hamis urged fellow businessmen and other able Ugandans to give a helping hand to the government and Nation at Large during this hard time.

It should be remembered that Hamis still through his Ham Foundation also donated bicycles, Prayer Mats and Qurans to the rural Sheiks and Imams of Masaka greater district last month on 13th at Masaka Golf Course.
