Police Reports 117 Died in the Christmas period

Law enforcement authorities have disclosed that a total of 117 individuals lost their lives in incidents tied to criminal activities over the Christmas period. The police report covers the period from December 24th to 26th, with 84 fatalities attributed to crimes like murder, robbery, and an assault perpetrated by the Allied Democratic Forces in Kamwenge district. Additionally, 33 deaths were linked to road accidents. Fred Enanga, the police spokesperson, informed the media that a significant number of these incidents occurred in the regions of Rwenzori West, Kampala North, and Greater Masaka.
